A heritage village is one that still continues to reveal its past through its present.
We are all part of a far larger story which binds us as a community. This website will, we hope, lead you to discover those things about Otford that have created its standing as a Heritage Village.
There was a community living here in the Bronze Age, 3,000 years ago. They left their mark as a bowl barrow on Otford Mount, overlooking today’s village. Other communities have also left evidence of their part in our evolution. The Romans, Saxons, Normans and Tudors to name but a few.
